Weight Loss Pitfalls

Most Common Weight Loss Pitfalls include:
Unrealistic Expectations
Can cause a person to starve themselves, exercise to extremes (ie. working out too long and/or too hard)
and cause one to go to other drastic solutions such as using appetite stimulants or other chemicals.
Thinking only short term
Not changing your lifestyle for the long term, will only result in temporary weight loss and may lead to yo-yo dieting.
Not realizing Weight can fluctuate day to day
Weighing yourself everyday can cause one to become anxious and discouraged if one's weight is not what one wants it to be.
Not eating enough (of the right foods)
6 small meals per day are better than 3 large meals.
Eating frequently can reduce temptation
Skipping meals / Breakfast
This will slow your metabolism and result in fatigue. Always start your day with a healthy breakfast.
